Taco Soup Recipe


I have to give the credit to Trianna for the basic recipe. It's SO easy and SO cheap! I also call it "food storage soup" because it makes good use of canned items. We love it so I thought I'd share:
Taco Soup
1lb extra lean ground beef
1 garlic clove, minced
1 can green chillies
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
1 taco seasoning packet
Serving items:
Bag of Baked Tostitos Scoops, shredded cheese, sour cream
*Brown ground beef with minced garlic and green chillies. Drain off fat after cooking. Add everything to a pot and heat.
(We eat it by scooping it up with the chips! You can also sprinkle a little shredded cheese and sour cream on top!)

I had just told Mark earlier this week that I wanted to get his mom's taco soup recipe since it's so easy to make. But I guess I don't have to now. Thanks!
