Capelli Fashion Show

For the fashion show we needed to dress someone up like a character from a movie. I decided to do Neo from the Matrix. I didn't think I'd be able to talk my brother-in-law Nate in to doing it, but a big tub of Tollhouse Chocolate Chip cookie dough does wonders. He did a really good job and had fun shooting people with squirt guns.

A couple of my other favorites were Jacquelyn's little sister Emma as TinkerBell.

Selene from Underworld, and Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka.

A Bit More Randomness

My nephew Brian was in his last school play. I've been going to see his plays since he was in 6th grade so it's a little sad. He played Charlie in Brigadoon and doned a Scottish accent and kilt. Not to mention he hit a B above middle C!!! GO BRIAN!

My friend Trianna graduated from school on Saturday. I'm excited for her, but me and Brittney are sad to be without her. Good luck Trianna - you're going to be a great stylist and an even better mom!
This pic I'm posting just because I LOVE it. I had it as our desktop background for a while and Scott totally laughed at me.

Mucho Randomness

Poor Samwise has lost his tail! Usually parakeets have another tail grown in and then lose the old one. Not Samwise. He looks so funny and is totally off-balance. You should see him try to run! Poor kid.
We've moved in to our new apartment and are still working out the kinks. It's nice, we like it, but I've been so spoiled this last year and a half with my big kitchen that this one takes some getting used to. As with all moves, things magically disappear. I am missing a box that has all of my cookbooks in it and I want to cry! I've looked at my parent's house and combed through our stuff and still can't find them. CURSES!!!
As of Saturday I have about 133 hours left at school. WOO HOO! I'm way sick of working for free. I have both my practical and written exam scheduled and am trying not to get too jittery about them.
As for my extensions, although I liked them, I had a "Clomid" night and ended up handing Scott my seam ripper and said "See that brown thread? Pick it out". He was fine with the first row and was quite proud of himself for getting them out; until I informed him that there were still 3 rows to go.
(Explanation of "Clomid" night: I'm on 100mg of Clomid. I take 2 pills for 5 days a month in the hope of getting prego. There are a couple of days out of the month where I am very ornery. Poor Scott has learned the warning signs and knows to just leave me alone. If we believed in Sainthood, Scott's would be guaranteed. Anyway, this month I took my Clomid out on my extensions. I really hope we get some success soon because I'm getting pretty sick of the Clomid. I was told with this double dose that our likelihood of twins went way up and we are actually ok with that. If we had twins we'd more than likely call it good and be done because neither one of us want to go through this again.)

ROFL

How stupid am I? I'm sitting reading "You: On a Diet" whilst eating a chocolate chip cookie. Hmm...I think I've figured out what my problem is! :)

Catching Up

First of all, thanks for all of the posts about the wedding dress issue. I decided to sell it, but then Scott read the comments and loved the idea of making a blessing dress out of it, so I'm keeping it. Scott has so very few opinions about anything that when he does, I don't argue.
Second, Brittney did the most amazing job on my extensions!! They blend so well!!! That girl is going to make some serious money doing extensions. I like them - they're really fun. The itch, however, is not so fun. I've been told it goes away and I'm really excited about that.

The next 3 pics are of mannequin head bowling at school. SO funny!

Yesterday my brother Scott blessed his new son Taft. It was a really sweet blessing and of course, Taft is SO very cute. (How do I not have a pic of him?????)
And lastly, we move on Saturday. Oooooooooooh joy.
