To Sell or Not to Sell

I haven't been able to make up my mind about selling my wedding dress, so I've decided to put it to a vote. What do you think? Especially those of you who have been married for a while, do you really care about your dress now or is it just taking up space? I remember when I plunked down the $700 for it I kept thinking to myself: WHY am I not renting a dress??? But then I was glad to have it for pictures after our sealing, but now I'm not sure I'll ever care. I mean, seriously. I value my closet space (winks)

Valentine's Menu

We are quite the home-bodies and decided we didn't want to mess with the crowds at a restaurant, so we made dinner ourselves. It turned out really good so I thought I'd share the recipe/menu:

-Green salad w/ cucumbers, croutons.
-Homemade Chicken Strips (See recipe below)
-Baked potatoes with Sour Cream and shredded cheese
-Mud pie (See recipe below)

Chicken Strips:
1 lb of Chicken breast, cut into strips
1/2 cup Ranch dressing (I use BYU ranch - it's the best!!!)
Extra Crispy Shake n' Bake.

Place Chicken and ranch in a ziploc bag, coat the chicken with ranch. Let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes. Roll chicken in Shake n' Bake, then bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Mud Pie:
Oreo Crust
Chocolate Jell-O pudding pix
French Vanilla Cool Whip
Crushed Oreos on top :) MMMMM!

25 Things

1. The greatest cure for depression is Lletie loves. (Now that he's older I have to chase him down and catch him for a good love, but it's still worth it!)

2. It has taken me a week to think of 25 things.
3. The Czech Republic is the most underrated country in Europe. If you have a chance to go, take it! It's like going back in time.
4. My husband attempts to understand the concept of "Retail Therapy" and it is wonderful.
5. When I put on something new and Scott asks if it is new, only rarely does the whole "Honey, I've had this for ages!" work on him.
6. I love doing other people's hair but absolutely hate doing my own.
7. The first thing Scott and I found we had in common was that we both loved the song "Raining on Sunday" by Keith Urban.
8. The second was that we are both "Superman" junkies.
9. I have 2 parakeets. They are, quite coincidentally, named perfectly. Samwise is so sweet, so loyal, and so brave. Frodo....well....he's what would have happened to the character Frodo if he hadn't destroyed the ring.
10. My husband is the one that refers to Josh Groban, Sean Bean and Gerry Butler as my boyfriends.
11. I love that I live an apartment and not a house. Why? Because apartments only take 1 to 2 hours max to clean completely.
12. I hate doing laundry.
13. I don't take delight in Scott's lack of balance, but I do get a good laugh out of it! (blows kisses - you know I love you honey!)
14. Disney films are beginning to go down hill. Sad, sad, sad.
15. I call my dad Gary because it makes him mad.
16. I am giving up a trip to Disneyland for a washer and dryer.
17. I don't remember much about Vatican City. I was sleepwalking the entire way through it.
18. No ice cream in the good old USA comes close to Italian Gelato.
19. Bram Stoker's Dracula is one of my all time favorite books.
20. I would love to have boys because if I had a girl just like me I would kill her. ;)
21. I cannot turn down an Oreo or anything made with them.
22. Clomid is of the devil. I cried over a commercial about Polar Bears, and I cried yesterday when my mother pointed out a cute baby at church.
23. Waterfalls and Aspen trees are two of my favorite things.
24. I think the ideas for another stimulus package are insane. Just cut our freaking taxes!!!!
25. I want to live in Alaska.

Oops

We stopped by my parent's house yesterday and my Dad informed me that he found our wedding cake top in the freezer in the garage. Our anniversary was 6 months ago. Oops!
Other news: We secured a new apartment are excited about it. It's still in Pleasant Grove so that's even better :) We move March 7th...not looking forward to it. Moving sucks.
And guess what? Our camera wasn't broken!! Apparently it only needed new batteries....yeah...
