These are a few of my NEW favorite things...

*Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum: This is one of the best products I've found for controlling frizz. It can be used with wet or dry hair and it's not really heavy so it won't weight your hair down. It smells really good too!

"Real Genius" on DVD!!! Classic 80's movie; I was so excited to finally get it on DVD.

Mexican Vanilla: It makes homemade cookies even BETTER!

Breakfast: sliced banana, sprinkle of cinnamon and 1/4 cup 1% milk in a bowl. It's pretty filling and cinnamon is a natural appetite suppressant.

Lemi-Shine: The greatest thing ever for crappy hard water. It does wonders in the dishwasher! I have my sister to thank for suggesting this one!

B&B

On Friday night we took Scott's Dad and Mom to see "Beauty and the Beast" at the Scera Shell. Dad really wanted to see it, so we gave him an early Father's Day present. It was a beautiful evening; a little chilly, but not raining! The play was pretty good...for community theater. The Beast left quite a bit to be desired, but other than him it was a good show.

Here's what's up

Just a few updates, nothing overly exciting:

*On the 9th we got moved, dumped all of our stuff in the middle of the living room, and then painted. It was a marathon day but I'm so glad to have it over with. It looks great - it needed to have the paint touched up. We're loving our place and are excited to be settled for a while.

*I got through my hell week training and am happily installed at the Supercuts in Lindon. They're a great company to work for and the money isn't half bad either! I am liking it so far, other than the fact that they use Redken Color. It's not my favorite, but oh well. I'll live!

*We took my Dad to see "Angels & Demons". Loved it! Not as good as the book, but these things never really are. Still loved it. And hey, who DOESN'T want to go watch Ewan McGregor for an hour or so?!? (Ok, maybe that's just me. Seeing and hearing him in "Moulin Rouge!" still brings warmth to my heart)

*Scott is taking Calculus and wants to cry (if he were the crying type he probably would) Anyone great at it that can help him? :)

*I've lost my first 10 pounds on Weight Watchers! I have to share this with my girlfriends who understand the significance. Scott tries to be supportive, but it's difficult for someone who would love to gain weight. So there you have it. Weight Watchers is the bomb!

There you go... our lives are not very interesting. We work, Scott goes to school. Sweet!

Moving AGAIN

We are moving again on Saturday, and hopefully we won't be again for a couple of years. (Unless I end up killing my dad, then we'll probably need to move ;) My brother and his wife bought this BEAUTIFUL house in Cedar Hills, so that left my parent's awesome basement apartment available. It'll save us some dough (wait, doe? dow? dough? hmmm) so we thought, what the heck? It'll help us out a bit while Scott is finishing up school. I've pretty much got moving down to a system now so it's all fairly efficient. However, it still SUCKS and I hate it :)
On top of moving, I have a lovely "hell week" to look forward to next week. I have to drive up to SLC for 5 days straight for SuperCuts & Color "Hair Academy". Didn't I just leave that party?!?!? I'm trying to have a good attitude about it because I know they teach you how to be faster and more efficient, but it bites all the same. Then the next week I'll start my job at SuperCuts & Color in Lindon. I'll be excited to get back into the salon again. I cut and colored my mom's hair last night and I realized I hadn't done hair for a couple of weeks and I really missed it. Yay for doing what I love!
P.S. Scott got an A- in College Algebra!!! If you know Scott and his feelings towards algebra, you know that is significant :)
See ya on the flip-side!

Boys & Their Toys

Scott set up one (of many) of his train sets to entertain Lincoln and Lleyten. Truth be told, I think Scott is more entertained than the little boys, but they all had fun.

And I had to post this adorable pic of little Taft smiling.

Couple of other things...

I finally remembered to post a picture of my newest nephew, Taft. He's SO stinking cute! I just want to give him hugs and kisses all day long!

We went out walking and people were laughing at us. You can see why!
