I finally succeeded in making good pumpkin bread. I can make all kinds of breads and they turn out fine but my pumpkin never did. Can I tell you how proud I am of my own self??

Cascade Springs
We went with Mel and Ryan to Cascade Springs on Friday evening. The colors in the canyon are GORGEOUS right now. I highly recommend driving the Alpine Loop in the next couple of weeks!

Yellowstone 2010
We went on another fun-filled trip to Yellowstone National Park. I love it there. It just makes me happy. Here are just a few of the highlights. Shoshone Lake. It's a 6 mile hike - 3 in, 3 out. It's not too bad of a hike; there were some steep bits but not bad. We were so proud of my mom! She hiked the whole things with us. Not bad for a 70 year old. (Forget I said that. She would probably be mad if she knew I'd posted her age...)

It's Still August
I listened to some Christmas music the other day. I blame it on the smell of cinnamon that was coming from my oven.

Chewy
You're probably already sick of hearing about our dog, but I'm going to share these pics anyway :) He has been so good for us! We LOVE him! This is me and my daddy. I love to cuddle with him at night!
This is my pouty position. It makes mommy want to blow her brains out.Posted by Scott and Stefie Shoell 0 comments

Fourth of July Festivities Part B
Tom got out the lawn mower and made a little putting green complete with flag. We had to hit the ball across the yard, over the trampoline and avoid the pool. It was hilarious! (See below for a video of Mom Shoell hitting...or attempting to hit the ball )

So Helpful
I'm hoping, one of these days, that Chewy will figure out that I don't need his help with everything.
