First Wave of Yellowstone Pics

We had so much fun on our trip! My parent's condo in Island Park is right on the golf course and SO gorgeous. I didn't do my hair or make up for 5 days and LOVED it :)
Grandpa Shoell died on Monday, so that phone call really upset us, but we were still able to enjoy the rest of our trip. We'll miss Grandpa sooo much. He was the sweetest and most fun man. But now he's with our Heavenly Father and he doesn't have to suffer anymore. Love you Grandpa!
These are pictures from our phones from the last couple days of our trip. Our camera is still with my parents in the park, so we'll post those later. (these are out of order too :P )

Brown bear in Bear World

Bear World has to be the coolest place ever. The bears just hang out near your car and occasionaly come and stand up with their paws on the bumper of the car and bounce...

Baby bears at Bear World. Scott had to pull me away. I could sit and watch those little darlings all day long!

Lower Falls Outlook in YNP

Looking down on Lower Falls in YNP. The hike back up the canyon is a bear but it's worth it to stand at the top of the waterfall :)

First Timer

My oh-so-proud-of-me-hubby got a little video of one of my better shots on the driving range. My biggest problem so far is that most of the work is done with your left arm and my left arm has ZERO strength in it. You'd think after all that round-brushing and cutting all day long it would have some muscle but alas....

Scott and his dad are good teachers and are very patient with me :)

P.S. Sorry that it's sideways...not sure why or how to fix it.

Christmas in July??

Not quite, just the Hallmark Ornament premiere. My friend Breanne was nice enought to invite me this year to the midnight event. I usually end up calling her in September or October and ask when the ornaments are coming out :) It was a fun event and I got super cute ornaments and it got me all excited for Christmas....6 months from now! These are a few of my NEW favorite things...

*Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum: This is one of the best products I've found for controlling frizz. It can be used with wet or dry hair and it's not really heavy so it won't weight your hair down. It smells really good too!

"Real Genius" on DVD!!! Classic 80's movie; I was so excited to finally get it on DVD.

Mexican Vanilla: It makes homemade cookies even BETTER!

Breakfast: sliced banana, sprinkle of cinnamon and 1/4 cup 1% milk in a bowl. It's pretty filling and cinnamon is a natural appetite suppressant.

Lemi-Shine: The greatest thing ever for crappy hard water. It does wonders in the dishwasher! I have my sister to thank for suggesting this one!

B&B

On Friday night we took Scott's Dad and Mom to see "Beauty and the Beast" at the Scera Shell. Dad really wanted to see it, so we gave him an early Father's Day present. It was a beautiful evening; a little chilly, but not raining! The play was pretty good...for community theater. The Beast left quite a bit to be desired, but other than him it was a good show.
